CleanAir joins OGCI’s Aiming for Zero Methane Emissions Initiative

CleanAir Engineering Inc. and its subsidiary CleanAir Europe, have today announced they are joining the Aiming for Zero Methane Emissions initiative, launched by OGCI.

The Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI) is a CEO-led initiative comprising 12 leading oil and gas companies focused on accelerating action to a net zero future consistent with the Paris Agreement.

To achieve its ambitions, OGCI’s 12 members are targeting net zero emissions at their own operations and collaborating with companies and partners across the industry and in other sectors to urgently reduce global greenhouse gas emissions.

Joining OGCI’s initiative aligns with the company’s ongoing dedication to support industries to reduce their methane emissions and tackle climate change on a global scale.

CleanAir, a leak detection and repair (LDAR) solution provider, brings expertise in volatile organic compound (VOC) detection technologies.

Aiming for Zero supporters meet at CERAWeek – Quarterly Update Q1 2024

In the past quarter, Angola’s oil and gas producer Sonangol and Australian energy company Santos signed up to the Aiming for Zero initiative. They join new supporters in the quarter – CleanAir Engineering Inc., climate tech startup Orbio Earth and energy consultancy Xodus. And we held our first working session of Aiming for Zero members at the CERAWeek conference where methane was one of the most discussed topics of the week.
